I am a local real estate agent and advisor serving Santa Cruz County and North Monterey County since 1996, focusing on residential sales and income properties. Real estate is a service industry, not a sale's business. I work hard to guide my clients buying or selling properties so that they can move through the process informed and confidently. There are real estate concerns, financial concerns, and personal concerns that always need to be addressed.
I have called Santa Cruz home for over thirty five years, raised my family here, and love being a part of our vibrant community. In 1979, my late husband and I started Hughes Custom Homes. We built custom homes for thirty years. Having owned a building business is an asset in so many areas of my residential real estate business. Understanding the bones and mechanics of a house is invaluable .. plus, I always know the best plumbers, electricians, painters, etc.. It helps my clients tremendously.
I've always been active in the Santa Cruz and Soquel communities. Prior to real estate, I was a full-time volunteer at my daughters’ schools; everything from head of the PTA and Site Council to art teacher.
